Heads-up
Since October 26, 2026, cars cannot cross Jamsu Bridge (잠수교), and this will not change after construction. If you drive from north of the river, cross on a bridge such as Banpo Bridge or Hannam Bridge first. People on foot and on bicycles can still cross during the work, except during paving work between May and August 2027. Conditions for wheelchairs are not known.
Isola and Mood Seoul close on Mondays, as of October 2026. Mood Seoul also takes a break from 15:00 to 17:00.
Tubester does not run from November to February, and Golden Blue Marina does not run in January and February, as of October 2026. Water activities can stop in bad weather.
Getting in
- Entrance
- The main approaches to Gavit and Solvit islands are step-free. The approach and main entrance are wide, with no slope.
- Doors
- The doorway at the main entrance appears level. In photos, the glass doors have handles. It is not clear whether they open automatically.
- Route
- From Express Bus Terminal Station (고속터미널역) on Lines 3, 7 and 9, use Exit 8-1. It is about 650 m, or about 15 minutes on foot. An underground walkway also runs from Exit G2 to the Some Sevit parking lot.
- Bus
- Since October 26, 2026, buses 405 and 740 cross Banpo Bridge instead of Jamsu Bridge, and their stop at Some Sevit (반포한강공원·세빛섬) is closed. Use the stop at the south end of Banpo Bridge (반포대교남단·한강시민공원입구) instead. In 2025, this stop was about 600 m, or an 8-minute walk, from the usual stops for buses 405 and 740.
- Parking
- The Some Sevit parking lot in Banpo Hangang Park has 5 accessible spaces. If you park at Banpo Hangang Park Parking Lot 2, expect about a 5-minute walk.
Inside
- Paths
- The ground is mostly flat. The links between islands have shallow steps, so take care with a wheelchair. Sources differ on whether the links have steps. Call 1566-3433 (may work only from inside Korea) and ask about the links you plan to use. Older information from a 2016 survey mentions a raised edge of about 1 cm at these links.
- Elevators
- Each building has an elevator with enough room for a wheelchair user. Gavit and Chavit have facilities on floors 1 to 3, and Solvit has facilities on floors 1 and 2.
- Toilets
- Accessible toilets are on the 1st floor of Islands 1 and 2, and Island 3 has none. Other details place them at Gavit, Chavit and the nearby Hangang Park. Sources differ on which islands have them. Call 1566-3433 (may work only from inside Korea) and ask where they are.
- Wheelchair loan
- Since January 12, 2026, you can borrow a wheelchair for free at the disaster prevention room (방재실) if you need one. This includes people who have trouble walking, older adults, pregnant visitors and people with a short-term injury. Numbers are limited, so it is first come, first served.
- Loan rules
- Bring your own ID. Use the wheelchair only inside Some Sevit and return it to the same room. You may be responsible for loss or damage.
