Heads-up

Adults and teens cannot enter without a child, as of October 2026. Children 9 and under also need a guardian. If your group has no child, choose another place.

Book online before you go. If you arrive late, you can still enter the permanent exhibition, but not a planetarium show that has started.

Getting in

Entrance
You can reach the main entrance by wheelchair. The approach is wide with a gentle slope, and a ramp with handrails appears to run beside the steps. The entrance is wide with no step, and the center door appears to be automatic.
Route
The center's directions use Hyehwa Station Exit 4, about a 7-minute walk toward Changgyeonggung Palace. Exit 4 is not a street elevator exit.
Parking
The center has no parking space and asks visitors to use public transport. One travel guide says to use the Changgyeonggung Palace lot or other nearby lots. Sources differ on whether the center has accessible parking. Call 02-3668-3350 (+82-2-3668-3350) to ask.
Tickets
Book online and enter at your booked time. There is a ticket counter for wheelchair users, and your QR ticket is checked at the floor 2 entrance. The exhibition gate appears to have a wide lane for wheelchairs and strollers.

Inside

Elevator
The building has an elevator that wheelchair users can use comfortably. The ticket desk is on floor 1, and the science center entrance is on floor 2.
Toilets
There is an accessible toilet for wheelchair users, but some parts may be hard to use. A grab bar appears on the wall beside the toilet. It is not clear whether the other side has one. A family toilet is also available.
Wheelchair rental
Borrow one of 2 wheelchairs or 5 strollers (for children 36 months and under) at the floor 1 ticket and information desk. You must show ID, so bring your passport and ask whether it works.
Rest area
The floor 2 rest area has room to eat a packed lunch. Your ticket lets you leave and re-enter on the same day.

Planetarium
