Namsan is a large city park, with N Seoul Tower at the top. The North Circular Road is easy, but other routes are long and sloped. Taxis and regular cars cannot drive on the park roads, so plan your way up before you go.

Getting here
Circular buses 01A and 01B run to N Seoul Tower and save you the climb. They stop at Chungmuro Station on Lines 3 and 4 and at Dongguk University Station on Line 3. Whether every 01A and 01B bus has a low floor or ramp is not known. As of 2024, wheelchair users at the Namsan Yejang stop press the button and board through the exit door. Buses 402 and 405 stop at Namsan Library, but whether they are low-floor is not known.

The ground
These notes come from public data and online sources.
- Getting to the top
- Circular buses are one way up. The Haneul Forest Trail deck path from Namsan Library is step-free, but whether you can climb it alone in a manual wheelchair is not known. Sources differ on whether Namsan Cable Car works by wheelchair. Stairs also lie between its upper station and the summit.
- By car
- Vehicles of Korean disability welfare card holders (grades 1–3) can enter after a card check, and older visitors with mobility aids may also be allowed. Call the park office at +82-2-3783-5900 to ask whether this covers you.
- Paths
- The North Circular Road is easy, and the park has benches and pavilions for rest. The full Namsan Trail runs 9.1 km and includes fairly steep slopes. If hills are hard for you, stay on the gentle North Ringway section.
- The library side
- The walk from the subway to the Hanyangdoseong Remains Exhibition Hall takes 20 minutes or more. From the Namsan Library stop for bus 402 or 405, the walk is 5 minutes. Older information places the library partway up Namsan, so the way there may be uphill.
