Getting in
- Entrance
- The way in is a gentle slope or flat ground. The indoor exhibition room has automatic outer and inner doors. The approach may also have a step as well as a ramp, and where the step is is not known. Sources differ on whether the approach has a step. Call 02-779-9870 (+82-2-779-9870 from abroad) to ask where it is.
- Parking
- Parking space is tight, so use public transit if you can. Accessible parking is available, and you can use 3 accessible spaces at the Seoul Office of Education (서울교육청) lot.
- Route
- Take bus 402, 405, 02, or 04 to Namsan Library (stops 03-167 and 03-168), then walk 5 minutes. On foot, it is 20 minutes from Hoehyeon Station and 25 minutes from Seoul Station. In older information, the walk from Hoehyeon Station likely goes uphill.
Inside
- Paths
- The outdoor wall display has gentle ramps and step-free paths. You can likely reach the wall remains near the entrance, the Joseon Shrine worship hall site, and the fountain area.
- Deck
- A roofed deck appears to run beside the wall, with handrails on both sides. The floor appears to be fine metal grating. The roof may give some cover from rain and sun.
- Limited routes
- Two routes are limited for wheelchairs: from the wall remains to the Gakjaseongseok dead end, and from Sowol-ro up toward the Namsan summit. The map suggests that the routes to Gakjaseongseok and both viewpoints are limited for wheelchairs. The Sowol-ro route may start with stairs near the lower deck.
- Indoor rooms
- The information center has exhibition rooms and a rest area (older information). There is no elevator for wheelchair users here. The number of indoor floors is not known.
- Toilets
- Separate accessible toilets for men and women are next to the indoor exhibition room. The sink height adjusts, and a low emergency bell can be reached from the floor.
