Doosan Art Center
You can visit by wheelchair with some planning. Ramps lead to the main entrance and an elevator reaches both theaters, but wheelchair seats need an advance request. Doosan Art Center has Yonkang Hall (about 620 seats), the small theater Space111, and the free Doosan Gallery.

Heads-up
Request a wheelchair seat before your visit. For Let Me Fly (렛미플라이) at Yonkang Hall, call the producer, Damdam (담담), before you book: 070-7724-1535 (+82-70-7724-1535), weekdays 10:00–17:00.
If you need the men's accessible toilet, plan around show times. It opens only from 1 hour before a show until the show ends.
Getting in
- Entrance
- Ramps lead to the door left of the revolving door, which opens into the 1F lobby. Use the left-side ramp from the subway, or leave your taxi at the right-side parking entrance and use the front ramp.
- Route
- The center's official video starts the wheelchair route at the exit 8 elevator of Jongno 5(o)-ga Station. The route takes about 10 minutes, with one street crossing. Sources differ on whether the exit 8 elevator reaches the street. Ask station staff for the street elevator when you arrive. The walking directions use exit 1. This exit has no street elevator.
- Parking
- Accessible parking is on B2, with 5 spaces nearest the elevator exit. Same-day visitors pay 5,000 won for 4 hours (shows, lectures) or get 1 hour free (exhibitions), then 1,000 won per 10 minutes, as of October 2026.
Inside
- Elevator
- The elevator is straight ahead from the 1F lobby. It goes to B1 (ticket box, Space111) and B3 (Yonkang Hall).
- Yonkang Hall
- Meet a staff guide at the Yonkang Hall ticket box on B1. The guide goes with you by elevator to B3, then through the parking area and along a ramp into the lobby.
- Wheelchair seats
- Yonkang Hall and Space111 both have separate wheelchair seats. Request one in advance at 02-708-5001 (+82-2-708-5001).
- Toilets
- Women's accessible toilets are on 1F (open at all times) and B3, and the men's is on B1. The B3 and B1 toilets open only from 1 hour before a show until it ends.
- Rest, rental
- You can rent one of 2 manual wheelchairs. Older information places long wooden benches opposite the Space111 ticket box and in the Yonkang Hall lobby.
