You can enter by wheelchair and take the elevator to the fifth-floor exhibition rooms. One source puts an accessible toilet in the hospital building, not the museum building. Its exact location and whether museum visitors can use it are unclear. Sources differ on whether the hospital building is separate from the museum building. Heads-up

One source puts an accessible toilet in the hospital building, not the museum building, but its exact location is unclear. Sources differ on whether the hospital building is separate from the museum building. Before your visit, call to ask if you can use the one in the hospital building. If you cannot, plan a stop at the station.

The museum closes on Sundays and public holidays. On Saturdays it closes at 13:00, with last entry at 12:30, so choose a weekday if you want more time.

The museum website may still show a temporary closure notice from August 2020. Notices from 2026 suggest the museum is open now, but call before you go.

Getting in

Entrance
You can reach the entrance by wheelchair on a ramp. The door opens by hand. The way from outside to the elevator has no step.

Route
The museum's directions use Jongno 3(sam)-ga Station exits 1 and 2 (Line 1), 2-1 and 3 (Line 3), and 3 and 5 (Line 5). These exits have no street elevator; see Getting there. Use the Jongno 3-ga–Tapgol Park bus stop.
